About — Ahmed Ayyad
I am Ahmed. I have worked with Python for years, mostly on the backend: FastAPI services, Telegram bots, and small Redis-backed tools.
I use Debian on all my machines, not to look cool, but because I would rather understand the system my code runs on than treat it as a black box. When something breaks, I want to know exactly where it came from.
What I write about
Most of what I write comes from things I actually ran into, not from theory:
- When the same rule is copied in twenty places, you end up missing one. So I learned to define everything once.
- Code that fails silently is more dangerous than code that raises an explicit exception, because you will not even know something went wrong.
- Before hand-writing
asyncio.gather, I ask first: does the library ship its own concurrency tool? Usually it does.
What you will find here
My open-source projects on GitHub, and articles where I walk through what actually happened. Everything here is hand-written and hand-built, with no auto-generated content.
